rhythm rush

notes fall to the line in time with the song. tap each one right on the beat: dead on scores the most, a bit off scores less, and a note you let past is a miss. every level is made by a player, and you can make one too.

how to play rhythm rush

pick a level and the song plays in the video above the board. notes fall down four lanes to the white line. tap a note's lane just as it reaches the line: on a phone tap the lane, on a keyboard use J K L ;.

every tap is scored on how close it lands. within 25 milliseconds is perfect and worth the most, then great, good and ok are worth less and less. a note you let past is a miss, and a tap on an empty lane is a stray that breaks your combo.

at the end you get a grade from D to SSS, your accuracy, your best combo and a graph of how early or late every tap was. put your score on that level's top 10.
